Our mission is to provide high quality, evidence-based, Music Therapy services to individuals in Eastern Idaho through collaboration and client-centered care, in order to empower individuals in all walks of life to achieve growth, connection, and independence

To increase access to Music Therapy services in Eastern Idaho and provide ongoing support to individuals in community, academic, and medical settings through interdisciplinary collaboration
Irene Wald, MT-BC
Irene is a Board Certified Music Therapist and founder of Wavelengths Music Therapy. After graduating from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Music Therapy and completing her internship at Expressive Therapies LLC in Appleton, WI, Irene relocated to Idaho Falls in 2022 to provide in-home Music Therapy through private practice. Irene has experience working with children, teens, and adults with a wide range of diagnoses, including autism, stroke, TBI, cerebral palsy, visual impairment, sensory processing disorder, and developmental delay. She especially enjoys providing early intervention for children working towards their developmental milestones, individuals with sensory differences, and those working on executive functioning skills.
In her free time, you may find Irene skiing, hiking, running, or hiding somewhere to read a book.
